U.S. CONGRESSMAN MIKE THOMPSON ENDORSES RYAN GREGORY FOR NAPA COUNTY SUPERVISOR

Congressman's endorsement provides big boost to 2nd District candidate

U.S. Rep. Mike Thompson (D-St. Helena) announced today that he is endorsing Ryan Gregory for the 2nd District seat on the Napa County Board of Supervisors.

“Ryan Gregory will work hard every day to make all of Napa a better place to live, work, raise a family, and run a business,” said Thompson. “As a native of the district, he understands the issues we face, he’s involved in our community, and he’s experienced in business. Ryan Gregory has what it takes to make sure our community is made stronger for our kids and grandkids. I am proud to support him.”

Upon learning of the endorsement, Gregory praised the 9-term Congressman and Vietnam veteran. “I feel honored to have earned the support of Congressman Thompson, someone who embodies what it means to be a dedicated and effective public servant,” Gregory said. “Congressman Thompson is someone I’ve looked up to for a long time, and I’m incredibly grateful for his support,” Gregory added.

Congressman Thompson’s endorsement provided a significant boost to Ryan Gregory’s campaign, whose viability has continued to grow since he announced his candidacy. At the time he launched his campaign, Gregory had already earned the endorsement of Napa Mayor Jill Techel, along with numerous residents in Napa’s urban and rural areas. Ryan Gregory is a small business owner, father and Napa native.

Ryan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. He lives in Napa, where he and his wife Laura are raising their two teenage daughters: Sage (15) and Sophia (13).
