Winemakers and community leaders in Napa Valley are trying to launch a preemptive strike to head off plans to build a Las Vegas style casino

The Pomo tribe is in the early stages of planning to build a casino in Napa. It only came to light to Napa County by an anonymous tip.

Winemakers and community leaders quickly banded together to voice their opposition to these plans. The goal is to keep the image of the Napa Valley to envision wine and not slot machines.
