Voters To Decide On 1% Increase In Transient Occupancy Tax
The measures are on the ballots in five cities and unincorporated Napa County.

NAPA COUNTY, CA – Napa County and its five cities are asking voters in the Nov. 6 election to approve a 1 percent increase in the current 12 percent transient occupancy tax in their jurisdictions.
The new tax revenue would go into a separate fund to be used solely for affordable and workforce housing programs and services for people who work in the unincorporated county and the cities.
The proposals are Measure D in Calistoga, Measure E in St. Helena, Measure F in Napa, Measure H in American Canyon, Measure I in unincorporated Napa County, and Measure S in Yountville.

Each ballot measure requires two-thirds approval to pass and would take effect Jan. 1, 2019.
