Want To Serve Community? Sign Up For Napa Valley PICK Event

"Think of it as a fun afternoon of speed 'dating' for the community-minded."

NAPA VALLEY, CA – Napa County residents interested in serving on the board of directors of some of the regions' key nonprofit organizations are invited to participate in the 2018 Napa Valley Board PICK -- a free community event Wednesday, Nov. 14 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Napa Valley College's Upper Valley Campus, 1088 College Ave. in St. Helena.

The Napa Valley Board PICK brings together prospective board candidates with established 501(c)3 nonprofits seeking new board members and offers an opportunity for community members to demonstrate their "Passion, Interest, Commitment and Knowledge" (their PICK) by meeting directly in one place with leaders of various Napa-based nonprofits.

"Think of it as a fun afternoon of speed 'dating' for the community-minded," said Napa Valley College's Lissa Gibbs, one of the event's co-organizers.
