WATCH Derring-Do: Rescue Of Injured Jogger From Skyline In Napa
CHP helicopter crew hoists an injured woman Feb. 16 from Skyline Wilderness Park trail.
From the California Highway Patrol:
On February 16, 2015, CHP Helicopter H-30 assisted Napa County Fire with the rescue of an injured jogger in Skyline Park.
Due to the rugged terrain, a hoist rescue was necessary to extricate the jogger. Our flight officer/paramedic was lowered to the jogger, who packaged her for transport.

H-30 transported her to a nearby landing zone, then reconfigured and medically evacuated her to a nearby trauma center.
