Wildfire, Insurance-Recovery Workshop Set For North Bay

Still struggling with fire-damage claims as homeowner or renter? Get needed info at this free session.

YOUNTVILLE, CA – For North Bay homeowners and renters still navigating damage settlements from the wildfires, a free "Recovery and Insurance Workshop" is scheduled Tuesday, Jan. 23 at 6 p.m. at the Yountville Community Center.

This United Policyholders’ Roadmap to Recovery™ workshop is co-hosted by the Napa Valley Community Foundation, California Rural Legal Assistance and Bay Area Legal Aid. United Policyholders is a non-profit that has supported disaster-impacted households, individuals and businesses since 1991.

The workshop focus: guidance on valuing and documenting wildfire losses and navigating fair settlements of home or renter’s insurance claim.

All attendees will receive a free copy of the “little yellow” Disaster Recovery Handbook and can ask questions during a Q&A portion of the program.

The community center is at 6516 Washington St. in Yountville.
