Wind Advisory Issued For North Bay Mountains
"Winds of 20 to 35 mph with local gusts to 50 mph are forecast," according to the National Weather Service San Francisco Bay Area.

NORTH BAY, CA — A wind advisory — meaning winds of 35 mph are expected — has been issued for the North Bay mountains. The advisory goes into effect at 9 p.m. Monday and continues through 10 a.m. Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service San Francisco Bay Area.
"Gusty winds from the north can be expected .... Winds of 20 to 35 mph with local gusts to 50 mph are forecast," NWS forecasters stated in the advisory issued at noon Monday.
The advisory pertains to high elevations in parts of Napa, Solano, Sonoma and Marin counties, with Angwin, Lagunitas-Forest Knolls and Woodacre among locations where high winds are expected.

"Winds this strong can make driving difficult ... especially for high profile vehicles," NWS officials said. "Use extra caution."
The winds may also lead to downed power lines and blowing debris, according to the NWS.
