Winemaker Dinner with Arkenstone Vineyards and Labor Day Weekend Events
Indulge in fabulous wine and food during a dinner in the vineyards, then relax by the pool with a BBQ and fiesta.
Friday, September 2 - Masters Winemaker Dinner with Arkenstone Vineyards with Musical Concert - 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Step into the hillside vineyards of The Meritage Resort and Spa as you indulge in an unforgettable evening of fine wines, mouth-watering food, and the soothing sounds of a live band all under the beautiful Napa Valley sky, stars, and a New Moon. We begin the evening between rows of vineyards with a reception featuring small-bites from our culinary team that highlight the magnificent 2013 Arkenstone Sauvignon Blanc.
Following the reception, you will experience a five-course dinner like no other on the Vineyard Deck, surrounded by the vines with views of the Napa Valley. The deck will be set with a beautiful canopy and a long Kings Table for all to gather around. Throughout the evening each course will be introduced by the couple that has made Arkenstone an icon in wine country, Ron and Susan Krausz, The Meritage Resort’s culinary team and executive chef, Ryan Rupp, and you’ll hear music from the Rat Pack band, playing favorites from Copacabana to Frank Sinatra.
After a magnificent dinner, you’ll be invited to join our culinary team on the lower level of the Vineyard Deck for a dessert featuring a fire and ice table display. You’ll watch as they light the table on fire (with the assistance of Bacardi 151) and quickly cool it with liquid nitrogen before a delicious dessert is served alongside Arkenstone’s 2007 Petroglyph, a Sémillon-Sauvignon Blanc blend.

Saturday, September 3 - Grillin’ After Dark - 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Sip on local sparkling, wines and brews by the pool as you enjoy live music around the fire pit and The Meritage Resort Pool. Our chefs will be grillin’ over charcoal Labor Day Weekend.

Sunday, September 4 - Pool Party Fiesta - 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Celebrate the end of the summer with a Pool Party Fiesta. Sip on a Specialty Margarita, your favorite south of the boarder brews and cocktails, while enjoying street tacos prepared fresh by our culinary team and listening to music from our live DJ.
