Napa Valley Writers Special Panel Presentation on Pathways to Publishing: Contests and Submissions

Wednesday, March 9, 7 -9 pm, local authors Anne Holmes, Ana Manwaring & Marianne Lyon will present pros & cons of contests and submissions as a pathway to publishing. Writers looking to be published won’t want to miss this entertaining and educational presentation.

Marianne Lyon has been published in literary magazines and reviews including Colere 2015, Crone 2015, Trajectory 2014, Earth Daughters 2015, Feile-Festa 2015 Whirlwind 2014-2105. She is a member of the California Writers Club, Healdsburg Literary Guild.

Ana Manwaring is a columnist, developmental editor through JAM Manuscript Consulting, novelist, blogger, and poet. She teaches memoir writing, personal essay, poetry and fiction through Napa Valley College She is an active member of NorCal Sisters in Crime.

Ann Newton Holmes has co-authored three coffee-table books and has been published in Stanford Magazine, New Frontiers, Grit, ArtScan, Guide to the Arts, More than Wine, Uncorked, The Mystery of Fate, and Cup of Comfort.
