Ribbon cutting at 4 p.m. Tours every 15 minutes. [Breaking]

NAPA COUNTY, CA – The new Napa County Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) grand opening is scheduled today from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at 2751 Napa Valley Corporate Drive, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 4 p.m., and tours every 15 minutes.
The ceremony culminates a months-long moving and construction process that consolidates Public Health, Mental Health, Child Welfare Services, Public Assistance Programs, Training and Employment Services, and Alcohol and Drug Services into one campus. Significant renovations were made to turn the former pharmaceutical manufacturing and warehouse facility into a place that meets the needs of hundreds of HHSA clients daily.
Part of the renovations include wayfinding, or color coded branding, which will help clients keep track of their appointments and navigate the physical layout of the buildings.

About 400 Napa County employees moved into the new location, which the county purchased for $25 million in December 2013. The complex is easily accessible from Vine Transit Bus #11, and the county has also augmented bus service with a shuttle.
The grand opening event is in conjunction with the Recovery Month Resource Fair.
