10 Displaced In Apartment Complex Fire In Tri-Cities

No injuries were reported in the Sunday afternoon blaze, Alameda County firefighters said.

UNION CITY, CA — Ten residents were displaced from three apartments, but no injuries were reported, in a Sunday afternoon fire at a three-story complex in Union City, according to officials.

The fire started on the second floor shortly after 2:30 p.m. at the building on Alvarado Boulevard, the Alameda County Fire Department said. Crews contained the blaze to the unit where it began, which minimized damage to the entire structure, the agency said

The Red Cross assisted the affected residents.
