Agents Arrest Four on Suspicion of Two Marijuana Offenses

Authorities arrested four San Francisco men in Fremont earlier this month on two marijuana-related offenses, according to Fremont police. Agents with the Southern Alameda County Major Crimes Task Force made the arrests around 3 p.m. July 2 at a warehouse at 42400 Blacow Road, police said.

Agents arrested 38-year-old Qui Khai Loc, 39-year-old Nansheng Ye, 36-year-old Johnny Nhan Loc and 61-year-old Sau Siu Loc, according to police. Police said agents received information about an indoor marijuana grow operation in May. Agents investigated the claim in May and June and obtained a warrant to search units A and B of the warehouse, according to police.

Before executing the warrant, agents observed the four men leaving the warehouse and detained them, police said. A search of the warehouse revealed 672 marijuana plants, two grams of ketamine, a cellphone, and other evidence, according to police.

Ketamine is a psychoactive drug that tends “to be abused by teens and young adults at bars, nightclubs, concerts and parties,” according to the National Institute on Drug Abuse. Agents also found $25,665 in cash and found that a power line to the warehouse had been bypassed. Police said agents are following up with PG&E on the theft of electricity.

The four men were arrested on suspicion of cultivating marijuana and possession of marijuana for sales, police said. Qui LOC, Nansheng YE and Johnny LOC were booked in the Fremont jail and Sau LOC was booked into Santa Rita Jail, according to police.
