American Flag Burned: Police Release Video Of Suspect Vehicle

FREMONT, CA — Police are investigating the burning of an American flag that was hanging on the front of a Fremont home. They have released video of a car they believe may be connected to the crime.
It happened early Sunday morning in the area of Mission Boulevard and Pickering Avenue.
The arson was reported around 7 a.m. by the homeowner. Police crime scene investigators and Fremont Fire responded collected evidence including video from nearby residences. Police said in a statement, "Video evidence obtained shows a vehicle of interest near the residence at approximately 3:50 a.m. The vehicle pulls to the curb and a subject exits the car and sprints up to the house. Several seconds later, the subject is seen running back to the vehicle before it flees the area. In an effort to solve this case, we are providing the video clip that best depicts the vehicle."

Police believe the car is a light colored, possibly silver, 2016 or 2017 Honda Civic 4-door with dark tinted rear windows.
Police note that the time stamp on the video is off by an hour.
