Applebee's Blends 'Perfect Eclipse Margaritas' On Aug. 21 Only

Awed by the eclipse? This could be the perfect way to cap-off a once-in-a-lifetime day.

CALIFORNIA — Do you need one more reason to love the total solar eclipse? How about a margarita made especially in its honor?

Applebee's is serving up Perfect Eclipse Margaritas for for just one day, Aug. 21. The Perfect Eclipse Margarita is made with 1800 Reposado tequila, Cointreau, Grand Marnier, Blue Curacao, pomegranate syrup and lime juice.

“This month’s total solar eclipse is truly a once in a lifetime event,” said Donna Malmlov, Regional Marketing Coordinator, Apple American Group. “As such, we wanted to make it an extra special experience for our guests and we hope that they will join us to enjoy our delicious Perfect Eclipse Margaritas while they view and celebrate this rare and spectacular occurrence!”

The cost of a Perfect Eclipse Margarita is $8, unless you're in South Lake Tahoe or at Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco where the price is slightly higher.
