Blog: Library Events For The New Year Around The Corner

Are you getting bored with your new toys yet? Want to get out and socialize with other kids? We will be crafting a snowman from cotton balls at our Library on Thursday, January 5 at 3:30 p.m.! You can, too!

This week, we will restart Toddler Time on January 4, Wednesday at 10 a.m. and January 6, Friday at 10:15 a.m. We always have Stay 'n' Play after Toddler Time where you can play with your child and our toys, while spending some time with other adults who have young children.

On Tuesday,  January 10, a very busy day for our library, at 1 p.m. is our famous "Cover to Cover" Adult book club. We will be discussing the book "Remarkable Creatures" by Tracy Chevalier. We hope you'll think about coming to this exciting discussion. And at 3:30 p.m. on this day we will restart two very-well attended programs, that is, Homework Express and the summertime Reading Buddies program where young ones (1st-5th graders) can practice their reading with older teens to help them. We still need volunteers for these programs and we are opening up the reading buddies for signups, too. You are assigned a 1/2 hour's worth of time to practice reading between 3:30 and 5:30.
