Saturday at the Library: DIY Remodeling, SATs, Autumn Acorns

 Survive Your Remodel, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

 

Discover the tools, tips and professionals you need for a successful remodel. Learn the steps from start to finish and the resurces available to you. Go beyond survival to attain the home of your dreams.

The presenter is Mollyanne Sherman, 25 year design & remodeling veteran, featured recently on HGTV's Bang for Your Buck, owner and lead designer of MAC Design, CKD, CBD, CID, CGBP.

SAT Essay Writing Worshop, 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

  Under the direction of Kaplan Test Preparation services students begin by writing a practice essay under timed, test-like conditions.  Advice will be available to help them recognize what essay graders look for, as well as strategies on writing effective essays.  Graded essays will be given out at the end of the session.

Fall Craft, 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.

  Join us at the Newark Library on Saturday, September 24 from 3-4 p.m. for our fall craft. We will be making an acorn mosaic out of construction paper. Younger children will need an adult to help.
