The Re-opening of the Newark Senior Center

The Newark Senior Center reopened its doors at 7401 Enterprise Drive on Tuesday, July 5.

The center, adjacent to Ash Street Park, closed 18 months ago because of budget cuts; for the past 18 months the center has been offering reduced services at the Silliman Center.

There will be an official grand re-opening celebration beginning at 10 a.m. July 19 at the center.
