Video Blog: Muir Woods National Monument

A video blog by Newark resident and Ohlone Community College Professor Rick Arellano featuring Muir Woods National Monument.

Muir Woods National Monument is located in Marin County, 11 miles north of the Golden Gate Bridge. It is known for the 1000-years-old giant Redwood trees.

To date, more than 800,000 people from all over the world come to visit each year.

A few days ago Sweetie and I enjoyed a quiet walk in Muir Woods. We enjoyed viewing the Redwood Creek, the four bridges, the lady bugs, the Tree Fall site, Cathedral Grove and more.
