Hi there, and welcome to the 's Rocketry club blog! I'll be updating you with progress on our rockets, as we design, build, and modify them!

So far the three teams have designed their rockets, built, and flew them at various locations.

Team Pointblank had a successful flight at snow ranch earlier this month, with a flight time of 42 seconds, just under the goal of 43 to 47 seconds.

At our second launch at Moffett Field we had two crashes, where the shock cord snapped, and sent the front half hurtling towards the earth, shattering the nosecone, and payload bay.

The second flight was also a crash due to a snapped shock cord, but none of the parts were damaged.

Team Panthers had two successful launches at both moffet field, and snow ranch. Team Beta had a catastrophic failure at snow ranch on their first flight where the secondary charge from the engine didn't deploy, and send out the parachute until it was less than ten feet from the ground.

Determined to correct their mistakes, they fixed their rocket, and went on to fly again at Moffet Field, where the first flight did not take off due to a faulty engine, but then after replacing the engine, had a successful flight.

I will be uploading picturess and video of our launches, and build sessions soon. Thanks!
