Car Crashes Into Newark Apartment Building: Photos
Two apartments are uninhabitable, displacing three people.

NEWARK, CA — A car barreled into an apartment building in Newark Friday evening, injuring the driver, and damaging two apartments to the point where the residents had to get out, according to the Alameda County Fire Department.
A total of three adults have been displaced. The residents were not injured in the crash. All of them are able to stay with family members, according to the fire department.
The crash happened just after 6 p.m. at Newark Boulevard and Dairy Avenue.

Firefighters shored-up the building after the vehicle was removed.

The accident is under investigation by Newark Police.
