Drive-By Shooting: Newark Police Seek Witnesses

NEWARK, CA — Did you witness a drive-by shooting but you're afraid to come forward, or you don't think that what you saw was important? Remember, investigators are trained to ask questions that elicit information that you may not think is important. Newark Police want to hear from you.

The shooting was on Sunday, June 30, shortly before 1 p.m. at the Andoil gas station located at the intersection of Thornton Avenue and Mayhews Landing Road. Police have looked at surveillance video that shows multiple witnesses to the shooting. Those witnesses left before police arrived and they have not contacted police.
