The beginning level of competitive soccer is "recreational soccer" or "rec" with a focus on fun, sportsmanship and an introduction to the rules of the game. For some children, after a year or so playing rec, they are ready for a higher level of competition. Development team was designed for players who would liketo be in a more challenging soccer environment.
