Family Day at the Park
Egg hunt, inflatable bouncers, arts and crafts part of the festivities
In celebration of Easter, the city of Newark Recreation & Community Department along with the Newark Optimist Club put on Family Day at the Park in Newark Community Park.
The event featured a giant egg hunt for children. The hunt was divided by ages, 3 year olds and under, 4 to 5 year olds and kindergarten to first graders. Although the egg hunt was the main attraction, there were many other activities for families to enjoy.
Inflatable bouncers were on site for children to enjoy. Numerous arts and crafts tables were set up, where kids could make bead bracelets and wacky hats.
