FBI ALERT: Photos of Serial Bank Robber Released
The robberies were in San Francisco and San Mateo, but the suspect could be from the East Bay. The robber also wore disguises.
Alameda County, CA - The FBI is asking for help finding a man who may have robbed two and possibly more banks in the last 60 days in the San Francisco Bay Area.
In the latest heist, the suspect robbed Provident Credit Union at 2727 South El Camino Real in San Mateo at 9:45 a.m. May 12 by taking over the bank while flashing a black revolver. The amount of money taken was not disclosed.
Federal officials also believe the same man robbed the First Republic Bank at 2001 Van Ness Ave. in San Francisco April 22.
Federal authorities are describing the suspect as a skinny white or Hispanic man, in his early 30s and about 6 feet tall.

The suspect was wearing tan makeup, a dark wig that made him look like he had long hair, a fake beard and brown jacket.
The FBI is offering a $5,000 cash reward for information that leads to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect.
