FREE Financial Workshop for South Asian Domestic Violence Victims

Advocates from San Jose-based Maitri will provide a free 2-hour workshop on financial management at The Empowerment Center at SAVE in Fremont on Saturday, June 27th, from 3-5 pm.

Designed to provide South Asian survivors of domestic violence, the workshop will cover a variety of topics, including: using credit vs. debit cards, long-term financial management, banking basics, creating a personal budget, and money management.

Assistance will be provided in Punjabi, Hindi, and Bangla. For those attendees in need of childcare and transportation, help is available!. Call Maitri’s Helpline at (888) 862-4874.
