Halloween is in the Air, Literally... NASA Shares 'Jack-o'-Lantern Sun' Photo

We are all familiar with the Man in the Moon but a jack-o’-lantern in the sun? NASA recently released a very appropriately timed photo of the sun appearing more like an eerie Halloween decoration than the star at the center of the Solar System. The image was taken on October 8 by NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory.
