UC Berkeley
UC Berkeley has amazing benefits. Community Colleges
The East Bay has four community college districts--Chabot/Las Positas, Ohlone, Peralta, Contra Costa. In addition, the community college system lists jobs for Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.There are currently more than 200 unfilled jobs posted and they're scattered around the area. These include clerical, assistant director for business, stationary engineer, counselors, custodian, dean of college research and planning, several vice presidents, grounds workers, electrician, web administrator, instructors and more. If you’re interested in temporary, part-time work there are many adjunct faculty positions available.
Salaries at the community colleges range from a low of $1,553 per month to a high of $164,188 annually.
