Latinx Education Summit Planned In Newark

The summit will be for Newark Unified parents and students.

NEWARK, CA — What critical issues are facing Latinx students and their families? What solutions would help? Those issues will be explored at the Latinx Education Summit to be held in Newark next Friday, Feb. 22, from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. Parents in Newark, Fremont, Union City and Hayward are invited to attend. The event is free and child care will be provided.

The summit will be conducted in Spanish, with English translation available.

Parents will learn about educational resources currently available to them. The goal is to enhance student achievement and identify challenges so they can be overcome.

The Latinx Education Summit will be held at Ohlone College, Meeting Room on the 2nd Floor, 39399 Cherry St., Newark, 94560.
