Here is where to dump your old mattresses, appliances, tires, e-waste and other household goods this weekend.

NEWARK, CA — Need to get rid of old appliances, mattresses, tires and "e-waste" items? This weekend is ideal for Newark residents.
As part of the city's "Community Clean-Up" effort, officials, along with Republic Services, is hosting on Saturday, Oct. 5, a drop-off event for residents from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Newark Service Center, 37450 Filbert St. — until bins are filled.
Organizers will accept those "bulky items," that do not fit in the weekly trash collection or curbside recycling containers, city officials said.
