Meet Newark's New Police Officer

NEWARK, CA — The Newark Police Department has introduced its newest member to the community.

Officer Torres recently completed field training. The department said, "We are proud to have Ofc. Torres join our Newark PD team. Wishing him a long and successful career!"

In a Facebook post about Torres, the most liked comment was by his parents, congratulating him on his accomplishment. Supportive parents make a world of difference!
