National Night Out Goes Virtual: Newark Police

The picnics and block parties are out, but that doesn't mean that National Night Out is canceled.

NEWARK, CA — The "fun" element of block parties and picnics will be missing this year, but the Newark Police Department wants to keep the spirit of National Night Out alive by taking the event online this year.

On Tuesday, August 4, police "will provide a Zoom meeting link and members of the police department will join you and your neighbors on the night of NNO. If you are interested in participating with your neighbors please fill out the registration form."

The deadline to register in next Wednesday, July 29.
