Newark Bakery That Makes Otis Spunkmeyer Products is Hiring

NEWARK, CA — Newark-based ARYZTA Bakery, which makes the popular Otis Spunkmeyer Cookies, is hiring. The bakery will host three jobs fairs this month. Three job fairs will be held at the bakery October 12, 19, 26 between 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., a company spokesperson said.

“We are seeking full-time production line workers (heavy lifters) for all three shifts. Heavy lifters are able to lift up to 50 pounds and push and pull bowls of dough weighing 700 pounds) moving pallets (they are on wheels rolling easily on smooth floors).”

Company representatives said those interested in applying will be interviewed during the job fair.

ARYZTA Bakery is located at 6500 Overlake Place in Newark.
