Newark Cops Write 205 Tickets In One Day

NEWARK, CA — Did you see a lot of Newark Police Officers writing tickets on Thursday? Or, perhaps, you got on yourself.

Officers wrote 205 tickets as the police department conducted a high intensity traffic enforcement operation in several of locations requested by members of the community.

The citations included 96 for pedestrian violations, 69 for speeding and the remainder for other violations.
