Newark Man, 19, Arrested on Suspicion of Hit-And-Run
Police arrested Sammy Sood Jr. on Wednesday night.
A 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of a hit-and-run crash in Newark on Wednesday night, police said. Shortly after 9 p.m., police investigated a non-injury hit-and-run collision on Haley Street.
Police located the suspect vehicle and its driver, Sammy Sood Jr., of Newark, on Thornton Avenue. Sood was arrested for the hit-and-run collision. He was cited and released, police said.
