Newark Police Arrest 3 Armed Robbery Suspects

The 3 teens are accused of crimes in three counties. Police also seized handguns, a stolen rifle, and ammunition.

NEWARK, CA — Newark police arrested three suspects following a two-month investigation of a series of armed robberies in the Bay Area.

The arrests were made Thursday morning when warrants were served at locations in Santa Clara, San Mateo and Alameda counties.

SWAT teams from each of those counties were involved in the arrests, according to Newark police, as the investigation revealed that the suspects were also responsible for robberies in those locales.

The suspects arrested are Jeremiah Manor and James Williams, both 19, and a 17-year-old juvenile. Searches of their residences turned up three handguns, a stolen rifle, high-capacity ammunition magazines and numerous rounds of ammunition.

The charges include robbery, possession of an un-serialized firearm known as a ghost gun, felon in possession of a firearm, probation violation, committing a felony while out on bail, unlawful possession of ammunition, possession of stolen property and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
