Newark Residents Emergency Preparedness Workshop
Would you know what to do in an emergency such as a major earthquake? The fire department wants to help you prepare.
NEWARK, CA — If a major earthquake, wildfire or other calamity happened in Newark, would you be able to fend for yourself until help reaches you?
The Alameda County Fire Department is Planning a virtual Personal Emergency Preparedness Workshop for Newark residents.
The fire department plans to show you how prepare your living space for an emergency, what to include in an emergency response kit, how to turn off your own utilities if you have a gas leak or other crisis, and how to plan a personal emergency response plan.
