NEWPARK MALL AND NESSA FROM WILD 94.9 RADIO STATION COLLECT BACKPACKS FOR TRI-CITY AREA NEEDY YOUTH

Just in time for back-to-school, NewPark Mall and Nessa with Wild 94.9 radio station will be collecting
backpacks for Tri-City area children at The
Wild Backpack Drive held at the shopping center. The community is
invited to donate a new backpack for underprivileged youth as well as
enter-to-win an iPad Mini and a chance to win other cool prizes. The nonprofit
organization, The League of Volunteers (LOV) will allocate the donated
backpacks to needy children.

Founded in 1979, LOV's mission is to promote volunteerism
and enhance the quality of life in the Tri-Cities area of Fremont, Newark and
Union City and to meet the needs of youth, senior citizens and the needy. The
multi-service agency fills a gap left by
cutbacks in school funding.

NewPark Mall is offering cash back to customers. Shoppers
will receive a $10 gift card and additional discounts to Aeropostale, Claire’s, Cotton On or The Children’s Place when they spend at least $150 at NewPark Mall
stores during August 16 – 23 (one gift card per person while supplies
last). All receipts must reflect purchases made at NewPark Mall during the
designated promotional dates. Valid identification must be presented to receive
gift card.

September 8 for a chance to win a GoPro
Hero 3 White Edition Camera.  Contestants can enter by submitting a “selfie”
in their “1st day of school outfit”.
