Pickup Left Running To Warm Up, Stolen From Newark Driveway
The vehicle has been recovered, but not in the same shape as when it disappeared.

NEWARK, CA — Police recovered a vehicle that was stolen from a driveway in Newark on Wednesday, police said.
At 6:24 a.m., an officer responded to the 6300 block of Smith Avenue to investigate a report of a stolen vehicle.
According to police, the owner left a 2015 Chevrolet pickup truck warming up in the driveway of his home.

he owner went inside for a moment, and when he returned the vehicle was gone.
Later that day, the vehicle was found in Oakland and had moderate crash damage, police said.
