Police are investigating a Friday armed robbery in Fremont in which the suspect held up the victim at knifepoint. Officers responded to the area of Bart Way and Civic Center Drive on a report of a robbery and learned the victim was walking on Bart Way when a silver SUV pulled up next to him. A man wearing a ski mask got out of the SUV, pulled a knife and demanded property from the victim, police said. The victim gave the suspect his property, and the suspect got back into the vehicle and fled the area.
