Police are investigating a Friday fatal collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian in Fremont. Officers responded at 7:12 p.m. to the intersection of Fremont Boulevard and Sundale Drive in response to a possible hit-and-run collision. Police said it appears a woman was crossing the street when a vehicle struck her. The woman was pronounced deceased at the scene. Police said the driver of the vehicle was contacted and is cooperating with the investigation, and it does not appear alcohol was a factor in the collision. Traffic delays were expected in the area until 1 a.m. By Bay City News
