Police in Union City are investigating a Tuesday night shooting that sent a man to the hospital. Officers responded at 7:46 p.m. to 29555 Kohoutek Way on a reporting of a man lying on the ground and suffering from a gunshot wound. Responding officers located a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound, police said. The man's injuries were not considered life threatening, and he was transported to the hospital. Investigators do not know where the shooting occurred, and no motive has been established, police said.
