Power Restored to More Than 4,000 Customers in Newark, Fremont

The the cause of the outage has not yet been determined, according to officials with PG&E. Were you without power?

A power outage briefly affected more than 4,000 PG&E customers in Fremont and Newark this morning, a utility spokesman said. The outage was reported at 4:58 a.m. and affected 4,074 customers, PG&E spokesman J.D. Guidi said.

Crews responded and were able to restore power by 6:42 a.m., Guidi said. He said the cause of the outage has not yet been determined.
