SAVE the Date for Night Fever, a 40th Anniversary Gala!
Proceeds will benefit improvements at SAVE's 30-bed emergency shelter and victim support services.
2016 marks a tremendous milestone for Fremont-based SAVE (Safe Alternatives to Violent Environments). Founded in 1976 as a grassroots organization to shelter and assist victims of domestic violence, SAVE is celebrating 40 years of community service!
In recognition of this anniversary, SAVE will host “Night Fever” – an elegant, 70s-themed fundraiser at the Fremont Silicon Valley Marriott on October 22, 2016. The evening will include dinner, music and dancing, a silent and live auction, entertainment, and a few surprises, too! Proceeds will benefit SAVE’s domestic violence victim support services and much-needed improvements and repairs at its 30-bed emergency shelter.
SAVE has a rich history in the Tri-Cities and this is one celebration community members won’t want to miss. SAVE has grown into a dynamic organization that provides an array of client-centered services and programs. From its 30-bed emergency shelter to 24-hour hotline to its newest endeavor – SAVE’s Empowerment Center – SAVE staff and volunteer teams strive every day to bring peace and safety to some of the most vulnerable individuals in our communities: victims of domestic violence and their families.
