Greetings Newark Families,
Today Alameda County moved from the purple tier into the red tier under the California Blueprint for a Safer Economy. Once the County has 14 consecutive days in the red tier, school districts in Alameda County may begin to consider reopening for in-person learning. Please read the attached letter from the Alameda County Office of Education for more information about the steps to reopening.
