NEWARK, CA -- An 18-year-old man from Union City was cited and released from the Newark police station Wednesday after he was arrested for hit-and-run and being unlicensed, police said. Officers responded at 7:28 p.m. to Mowry Avenue and Cherry Street after someone called to report a solo-vehicle rollover collision.
