Traffic Advisory: High School Graduation Saturday

The joy of high school graduation means a traffic jam for unsuspecting motorists.

Newark Memorial High School will hold graduation Saturday morning, 9 a.m. - noon. If you are not attending, avoid the area.

If you plan to attend, Newark Police have this message:

Due to the limited parking spaces, those attending the graduation ceremony are encouraged to car pool and use the parking lots on the east side of the campus along Cedar Boulevard. Local business parking lots adjacent to the school should not be used by those attending the ceremony. For those persons with disabilities, parking is available near the baseball fields. Parking laws will be enforced with fines ranging from $70-$300.
