Traffic Advisory: Newark High School Graduation Saturday

NEWARK, CA — Newark Police warn that traffic will be congested on Saturday near Newark Memorial High School because of graduation.

The ceremony is scheduled for 9 a.m. to noon. Motorists should expect traffic delays during these times on Cedar Boulevard between Mowry Avenue and Stevenson Boulevard.

Also, due to limited parking spaces, those attending the graduation ceremony are encouraged to car pool and use the parking lots on the east side of the campus along Cedar Boulevard.

Local business parking lots adjacent to the school should not be used by those attending the ceremony. For those persons with disabilities, parking is available near the baseball fields.

Parking laws will be enforced with fines ranging from $90-$310.
