Tri-City Shooting Friday Night Near High School

UNION CITY, CA — Police in Union City this morning are investigating a shooting incident that occurred during a football game Friday night near James Logan High School.
Officers with the Union City Police Department responded just after 9 p.m. to Tulane Street on a report of a shot being fired in the area, police said.
Officers searched the area and located a subject hiding in the area of Colgate Drive.

The subject was taken into custody but not in connection with the shooting, police said.
The incident occurred a few blocks from James Logan High School, where a football game was being played.
