Turkeys Take A Break: Photos Of The Day
This pair of turkeys settled down on a suburban lawn in the East Bay.
NEWARK, CA — Two wild turkeys spent the afternoon relaxing on Cabernet Avenue in Newark last Tuesday. They didn't seem to have a care in the world! A huge thank you to Joseph Twomey for snapping this photo and sharing with Patch readers. He said, "I first saw them walking down the middle of the street. They didn't seem scared of people taking pictures of them and spent the whole afternoon just walking from yard to yard. They walked back the way they came toward Haley Street."
If you have an awesome photo of nature, breath-taking scenery, kids caught being kids, a pet doing something funny or something unusual you happen to catch with your camera, we'd love to feature it on Patch.
We're looking for high-resolution images that reflect the beauty and fun that is Northern California, and that show off your unique talents.
