2 Cars Reported Stolen In Newark

An attempted theft was also reported, along with numerous vehicle burglaries.

NEWARK, CA —Newark Police are investigating the theft of two cars, plus an attempted vehicle theft this week. Both of the stolen cars are Hondas.

The first stolen car is a green, 1994 Honda Accord with a license plate of 3KED304. It was taken from the 35900 block of Ruschin Drive.

The next car reported stolen is a silver, 2004 Honda Civic with a license plate of 5HLD348. It was taken from the 39300 block of Cherry Street.

The attempted vehicle theft happened in the 6300 block of Thomas Avenue. Police did not report the make of the car.

Officers have also investigated multiple auto burglaries this week. They remind residents to place items in the trunk before arriving at your destination or take them into your home. Also, never leave valuable things in plain sight.
